Burris Customer Service

My Burris Sig. took a little dump. Nice dent at the scope ring. Lost zero. I was able to get it back. Pretty sure its out off center somewhat. Figure I'll send it in later on, when it get smokin hot outside.
Anyone dealt with their customer service?

I have delt with them twice. Once when a FFII showed signs of moister and another time when I lost a windage cap. With the FFII with moister, I called them and they gave the info on where to send it to and what info they needed for returning back to me. I didn't have the receipt anymore and they told me it wasn't necessary that it was a new enough model that it wasn't required. Had it back in 3 weeks.

Windage cap, I called them to purchase another set from them. The lady just asked for my address and sent me a set free.

I had a 2-7 pistol scope inside lense come loose or something. Granted this is on a 480 Super Redhawk, sent it in and had it back in a few weeks. I think I had to pay shipping both ways but that was it.

I dealt with them once a number of years ago and the service was prompt and courteous. I've also exchanged emails with them several times recently regarding the FFII LRS and have had fast detailed responses every time. Good enough that I bought the scope!

I never have personally because I wont buy any of there scopes again. Bought a 3-9 fullfield 2 w/bplex few years back and it was junk IMO. Got fuzzy around the edges after 6x and wasn't all that bright and clear compared to my 3-9 leupold vari x 2's. My dad didn't mind it and traded me a vari x 2 3-9 so I'm happy camper once again.

Have heard nothing but BAD from there customer service department. Few guys I talk to on a regular basis wished they never would have bought a Burris in the first place and they surely never will again.

Nothing worse then buying an American made product thats suppose to be good, then having it turn out to be junk and then on top of that, having them really not give a rats @$$ about there customers and keep putting them off and say they'll call them back and give them the run around for MONTHS.

Put your money into Leupold. There customer service is top notch when and if you ever have to use it. You get your scope or whatever you sent back in a week and 99% of the time, you dont have to pay a dime for anything besides shipping to get it there...

Sent them a 8 - 32 last fall that would not adjust - they sent it back and said nothing was wrong with it and to check my mounting system. I ain't new to this and there is nothing wrong with my mounts...

I have dealt with Burris Customer Service several times and I will give you a little advice. When sending the scope back make sure you write down the serial number of the scope and keep track of your tracking number. Burris has been known to lose packages or say the package has never arrived.

I have found there customer service to be similar to RCBS. They take care of you, no questions asked.

I have only had one real warranty issue. Had a 3-9 compact that had a bad nitrogen seal. Fixed, no questions asked.

All of the other issues have been self inflicted. Still, all fixed. No questions asked.

I have and have had eight Burris scopes and one set of Sig Binoculars. Love 'em and have nothing bad to say.

I have been liking my Nikon's a lot lately, but that is strictly preference and not due to any fault of Burris.

It does seem, however, that good customer service is "luck of the draw" with any company.

After reading all the different post, I guess your quote sum's it all up.

They swapped the fine reticle that my old eyes couldn't see (not Burris's fault) with the plex for no charge. More than satisfied with their customer service. I got my scope back in under two weeks.

I was living in Greeley when they opened the door's and needed a set of rings for a 22RF. Couldn't find them around town so went into Burris and did get them. But while there I delt with Don Burris, they didn't have a lot of staff then. He was a remarkable a$$hole and I've never bought another Burris product.

There customer service is excellent if you ask me. I had the elevation assembly come off on a 3x-12x pistolscope on my .338JDJ Contender. I sent it in and found out they couldn't have it repaired in time for me to leave to go antelope hunting in wyoming. I called back and spoke with a manager ( I don't remember his name ) and explained my circumstances. I had a new scope the Next day. Only the person in shipping sent me a 2x-7x scope by mistake. I called them back and the next day had a 3x-12x at my door. That is GOOD customes service. Since then I have needed some screws and they just sent them to me. Recently I bought the wrong height 30mm signature rings and called them and they said just send them in and they would send me the height I needed, they paid the return shipping.
I own 3 Burris pistol scopes and 3 rifle scopes and 10x 50 signature binoculars.
Tarey

I have not had any bad luck with their service. Lost a piece for my bino's and told them that they were about 6-8yrs old. They said the would send a call tag to send them in. I explained what I needed and she sent it to me and had it the next day. I now have 6 rifle scopes, 2 spoting scopes and 1 pair of bino's.

Got you all beat.

Had a company camo dip coat my "waterproof" Burris scope to match the 223 AR. Of course I had to sign a waiver.

Scope came back and still had water inside almost up to the reticle center. YIKES!

Sent it to Burris, No purchase receipt. Even told them what happened and was my fault. They disassembled it, Put it in the oven to dry it and put it back together.

Charged me $0.00. Did have to pay shipping.

Case 2
Mounted a Burris on an M1 Garand but the extracted brass was hitting the windage knob cover. Called them and they said they could reverse them so I could mount it with windage on the left. A minimal fee of I think 29 bucks plus shipping.

Case 3
I can talk to a person when I call!

Because of this good service I have more Burris than anything else.

Just my Opinion.
