Burris Euro Diamond

I have the Burris Euro-Diamond 2.5x10x44mm with the Ballistic Plex on my 270wsm. Been a very good scope for me. Very clear and the Ballistic Plex matches really well with my loads. Has taken mule deer out to 550yds. with it. very happy with it and I would buy another in a heart beat.

Went ahead and bought a 3-12X56 with the illuminated 3P#4 E-Dot reticle. It should be a good light gatherer and with the lighted dot I should get some good twilight shots.

It's mounted on a 6.5 Grendel AR and will be a pig and moderate range deer rifle. We may throw in a coyote once and a while. Didn't want either objective or side focus.

Have not had it to the range yet; however, just sighting it in through the back window on my neighbor's houses, it looks pretty good.

Any thoughts or experience on battery life?

Haven't had mine out to the range yet but, I sure know where the paint is flaking on my neighbor's house.

What are you using this scope for?

I have a Signature Select in 1.5-6X40 and I am thinking of switching to the Euro Diamond 1.5-6X40 with e-dot. This is on a pig hunting AR and I think I want the e-dot for low light shooting.

????

Here is the AR with Signature Select.

Hey Lawley, glad you are here!

Hopefully, this gives us an opportunity to get some important feedback to Burris. These forums can be a valuable source of information for vendors and manufacturers. Granted, there will be the unavoidable "b*tch sessions", but once you get around them and hear what your rational customers are saying, please stop and listen. I think Burris will benefit.

When I have more time I will share my thoughts and observations in detail.

Many of us own a considerable number of scopes and buy several new scopes every year. We are not light duty users. I guess I could say, we are not "Montgomery Wards sportsmen".

Burris is recognized as a great product; however, based on my observations, and reports we see here, the reputation of Burris customer service needs betterment.

BTW, I had my new Euro Diamond w/ edot off to Texas last weekend on a pig hunt and it was FANTASTIC! I think I'll swap out my Signature Select on my other pig AR for another Euro with e-dot.

More later.

Glad to see you here.
