Burris Fullfield 2.5-10x 42 w/windplex UPDATE

Anybody using this scope on a predator hunting rifle.? Midway has them for $129 and it looks kind of decent.

Well I bought it. It arrived Friday and mounted it on my Rem 788 222 Rem. It wasn't that long ago this would have rivaled a high end piece of glass. Zero stop on a low exposed elevation turret, capped low windage turret. Adjustments were spot on moving exactly as wanted. The only complaint is the reticle might be a little fine for low light but should work well for my style predator calling. The glass was clear enough to seee 22 cal bullet holes on white target at 100 yards on 2.5x.

I'm seriously thinking of putting it on my 22-250 AI in place of my 3-15 is n it now.

For $129 it seems like a lot of scope.

I was about to jump on a Fullfield 2-8 for a lightweight scope for my newest 30-30 so hopefully someone has some positive things to say. My Burris experience overall has been pretty good.

I used to use FF 2-7 as prizes for shoots I put on in the ear 2000's, never had a complaint about them. I've only owned two Burris scopes since a Sig. Select and a 4X(Euro Scope) both have been good scopes.

Never used the 2.5-10 but have a number of the 4.5 -14x42 w/ballistic plex for years. Outstanding for predators; found the E1 reticle to be even better, especially as eyesight diminished. E1 is a much bolder reticle, great for old eyes.

Have you had a chance to try it out at the range?
I wasn't sure about the reticle but I figured for 129 shipped I would try one. I haven't mounted mine yet but looking thru the window this thing is bright and clear. I went to order another one for my grandson but they were out of stock. It said in the add one time offering.

Yes I have and I like it. I have it on a 222 Rem but might move it to a 22-250 to make better uses of it's longer range capabilities.

I have and use a few of the 4.5x14x42 Burris M-Tac scopes and they are solid performers and lightweight to boot. With the forever warranty it's hard to go wrong with a Burris.
