Burris Fullfield 2 Tactical Scope 4.5-14x 42mm Ballistic Plex Reticle Olive

I just bought a Burris FF2 4.5-14x42mm ballistic plex but it is not the tactical olive drab model. I love the scope, Very clear glass and the ballistic plex is real handy. The glass on this is more clear than my leupold VXII.

I've had mine for a long time now, and love it. It's been on several different rigs from an AR-15 to a Savage Striker, and it's still tickin'. The BP reticle is just like any other--stadia below the x-hair axis that'll match your trajectory somewheres downrange.

I have one plain and one tactical 4.5 - 14's. Both are great scopes: clear glass and very repeatable.

Regards,
hm

The first one I had was dirty inside with debris all over. But the replacement was good other than mine was'nt 1/4" clicks. It was more like 1/2" click turrets, but the glass was good and the OD Green looks cool. B-plex was a nice reticle.

Mine are the standard version 4.5-14 with ballistic plex. They're on truck guns. A terrific rugged scope with very good optics and accurate adjustments. No problems ever with any of them.

Chris, Just to make you aware, Burris changed this scope this year the new one has 30mm tube and more elevation in it called a tac 30. If your thinking of the one they have at SW on piney grove rd, it is way over priced and is the old model.. They have two XTR 3-12,s that are the old model and wayyy wayyy wayyyyyy overpriced, check with Bearbasin if you buy one, they will be at least $100 cheaper that SW..

I have a 6-24 XTR that I love and I believe burris makes good scopes. I do think there are better scopes than the fullfield tactical for the same price though.

SW is way over priced compared to what I have found on the web, On the Burris site they still have the 1" tube model it seems to cheaper than the 30mm tube. I am looking at the Burris and also the Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x with ballistic reticle. I like them both but the Burris seems abit more clearer in the store.

Just checkin man, If your in that price range look at a the millet trs. It's a 4-16 illuminated with better glass than the fullfield line IMHO. I picked one up about six months ago at Palmetto Firearms across from SLED on Broad River rd. Almost Every site had been sold out of these for months. If you do a search on the Hide or Optics Talk you will see good reviews from some very serious shooters. , Al
