Don't know about a muzzle loader, but have one on my AR for 3 years now. This things rides all over in my atv rack bouncing all over the place. In three years poi has not changed. Very tough scope in my opinion. Decent glass as well.

I have a FF II 2-7 on my Knight M-L. For a scope in the mid range on price I am very happy with it. I have a few. I have not done much range shooting with the secondary x-hairs. I try to be in position for the 50-75yrd shot. The FF Burris scopes show up fairly often in some classified sites in the $150 range. I wouldn't be to excited about any 'free' bino's they throw in.

I had a USA made FFII 3-9x40 B-plex on my Encore .50 up until last season. After shooting & confirming the substensions before the season, I made my longest shot of 225yds on a late season buck a few years back...

It's a good scope for the $$$ and I found mine to be pretty durable, holding zero while getting banged around absorbing 150gr powder charges. And the B-plex stadia worked well for mapping the rainbow trajectory of a ML without dialing knobs...

No Muzzle Loaders here. However, I have had good luck with the Burris FF2s. 3X-9Xs on R-15, 6mm and .375 Wea. 4.5X14X on .17 Remington. 2X-7X on .284 Win. Have a Big Bunton Echo to try on the Swift.

Josh at Burris customer service has been very helpful. Just yesterday he looked up specific .17 Remingtion load data for the Ballistic Plex on their fancy, expensive computer program for me.

I have one on my elk rifle (ruger m77 300 win mag) It holds up to the recoil and wear n tear it gets here in the rockies

I fell into a 6ft deep crevasse while crossing a beaver damm in the dark last year landed on my side and smacked the rifle pretty good against a log

checked it with the boresighter and it hadn't moved two days later I shot my elk one shot DRT @ 350yds

I'd buy another

I have 3 and one VXII which I can not tell the difference between when looking threw any of them

it's good glass IMO, maybe the best you can buy for the money

I personally haven't put one on a MZ, but I know of them being used on a lot of Savage 10ML's and holding up ok.

In my opinion, if you do a lot of heavy recoil shooting it's just a matter of time until you have a scope failure--especially with more economoy line type stuff. So if you go that route, just make sure you get one with a good warranty.
