Burris Fullfield LRS

I've left replies on what I'd thought about it. Read up as the new model has a push button set up and a memory or timer that turns it's self off on it's own.

I don't care for mine, some may like it. I like a turn style reostat brightness setting, and I'll turn it off when I want to, not when it wants to! Nothing worse than the thing shutting off and you pushing that saddle button try'n to get the lighted reticle on the brightness setting you want it then your eyes try'n to focus again!

I use a cheapo Nikko Sterling 30mm with a illuminated dot on a lightweight AR. for night hunting. The Burris is collecting dust!

If I were to offer a scope it would have a saddle mounted reostat, 1/2 MOA illuminated dot reticle with NON ILLUMINATED BDC hash marks.

Lets face it most affordable glass like a FFII is'nt going to allow shooting past, at best 100 yds. or so in poor light in good conditions.

If you hunt early morning in the dark you have the illuminated dot when shooting light comes up and a longer shot presents it's self you have your holdover marks

There are better choices! I like Burris, not this model!

I really don't think most of these optics engineers hunt, maybe they hunt on those computer games or something

Well I might just stick with what I got for a lighted dot reticle. I was reading elsewhere about some issues with Burris and their LRS scopes.

yes. shop carefully. I think I have about $330.00 in the LRS.

not enough to bankrupt, still a decent amount of change!

read reviews on glass! Sadly around me there are'nt any shops that stock much in glass so you can't really can't see a product or compare them.

by look's I'd thought the Burris LRS had a reostat turn style saddle mount. When it arrived I found out it was push button. Live and learn!
