Burris warranty question

Has anyone ever bent a tube on a burris scope and had any luck getting it fixed through burris's warranty department? Had a bad fall last week.

You'll probably get a few different opinions of Burris warrantee dept. However, I have called them only twice in many years of having SEVERAL burris scopes. Once, I called because I had lost one of my turret caps. They sent me two in the mail. They paid shipping, didn't cost me a dime. Other time we broke a turret on an older signature scope. Sent it in with a letter. They sent it back about 1.5 months later, good as new. They covered the return shipping also. Only cost me the shipping to them. My only complaint is there was no communication at all. The scope just showed up...

All in all I've had nothing but cudo's for them! Give them a call & keep us posted. I think internet forums like this has created better CS in several companies.

They did more than right with me. I had a scope with the fine reticle and my old eyes just couldn't see it and they replaced the reticle and sent it back no charge in about 3 weeks.

I had a Landmark binocular go out of whack on me and they replaced it with no fuss. I sent them a bad binocular and about 3 weeks later a new one showed up. Can't complain about that.

Sorry to hear you took a fall glad you got home alive. All you can do is call them and ask. I have had a couple of scopes from Burris that I sent back and my experience was not as positive because the design was not useable on the 3-12 pistol scope with balistic reticle on a 45-70 encore pistol because eye relief would not allow full extension of the arms due to too short of eye relief and the only place the balistic reticle worked was max power. They said is was in perfect condition and if the pistol was low recoil it would have been fine but not for a high recoil pistol.

Ran into exactly the same thing! Buddy had one on an AR, it fell over when he got into his safe oneday. Never saw a mark on anything, didn't realize it was bent. We took it and 3-4 others out to the range one day to make sure everthing was sighted in. He wasn't even hitting the paper. I was sitting at the table next to him with the spotting scope, looked over to him after the 3rd round...what the !!!! The scope took a big nosedive, he hadn't noticed it when he checked it over. He sent it in to Burris with an explanation. They said they'd fix it! Didn't hear from them for a few weeks, called them, they said they were waiting on parts. They called a week later, said they couldn't fix it and offered to sell him a replacement for cost. So, he ended paying a fair amount less for a 4.5x14 than it would have cost him anywhere else....not bad when it was his fault. Greg

Hey coyotewillie, I had the scope on an AR also, it had a 4 inch scope shade which acted like a torque wrench when I landed on the ice. I haven't heard anything back so far, I think no news is good news. Keeping my fingers crossed and will keep ya all posted.

They did me right, the said they couldn't fix so they gave me 70 percent off any scope they make.I think that was a pretty sweet deal considering it was my fault or the ice I guess.
