bushnell banner 6-24-40 or 6-18-50

what scope you think would work best on a tikka t3 lite i kinda whant the bigger obgective of the 50mm but it might not fit on the tikka and the 6-24 has a mil dot reticle i relly dont care about the cross hairs but is a cool featur. bolth banners have AO so i think they will be good for long ranges on a smaller cal 243 25-06 out to 300yd but i dont know for sure.

I have a bushnell 6-24-40 and don't like it.

Its clarity sucks and does not collect light well.

My advice is step up to an Ellite ,you will just end up getting one later.

I also regret getting such a high power range. unless you are prarie dogging I would suggest 4x10 or 12.

The mil-dot rocks ,that I don't regret.

Well, I have the 6x18x50 Banner on all my coyote guns and they have done me well.
I can't complain.

Ditto on the 6-18-50. Best scope I have. I need a sunshade on it though.

you guys know if it will fit on the tikka t3 lite with the rings that come with it. they clame to fit a 42mm scope with a AO but at what langth maby thers moor cleranse further down the barrel, but i dont know for sure.

My 6-24-40 is usles over 16 power.

The Banner 6-24x40 md is a good scope for that price range.

I would check out the Muellers first though.

I have had both but got rid of the 6-24 and kept the 6-18 because it is a lot better scope.

I have a 6x18x50 on a 6MM Rem. BDL , it looks a little unbalanced , with the sporter barrel . Cant complain on it's ability to produce small groups on paper or DEAD Coyotes .

Using the advice of David Tubb's, national high power champion and shooting expert. Paraphrasing "Normal shooters should not have a scope over 16 (it may have been 18, I can't remember) power, the extra magnification is lost on them". I would have to agree.
