Buttler Creek Blizzard scope covers for Redfield Revolution

I have a new Redfield Revolution 4x12x40 scope that I am trying to fit Buttler Creek Bilzzard scope covers. According to the chart the eye piece lens should take a #4 and the objective lens a # 7
The number 7 works great on the objective lens, however when putting the # 4 on the eyepiece the cover will not stay closed. If I barely attach the # 4 , the cover closes however the whole cover itself is almost falling off and it does fall off when touched
I am not too sure if a # 5 would be too large
Can you tell me what size you are using on the eye piece end

Those blizzard caps along with the regular ones they sell are junk. Just wait till the little retainers fall out and your clear lens gets lost. I've lost so many of those chit caps thru the years I don't even care to recall. Broke hinges, caps falling off and getting lost, lenses falling out... I just don't spend good money on them anymore. I buy the bikini caps and zip tie it to the scope tube and it never gets lost.
