Caldwell deadshot field pod?

I have one and I only use it for ground hog hunting. It is perfect for that, and would probably be very nice when hunting from a blind. I tried to use it for predator hunting and it was just too cumbersome to move around to re position for a shot. Bogpod sticks are way more versatile for the way the that I hunt.
 
I've been using the Max model since Oct., and like it especially if I'm running the call, scanning with the thermal and have a rifle to hold on my trigger stick bipod. The Max allows me to set the rifle up and leave it in the cradle in the position I think the coyote will come from. If that doesn't happen, I pick the Max up from beneath the tripod head and move it with the rifle never coming out of the cradle.

I use a swivel chair so it isn't really all that difficult to do. We use an electric golf cart to get pretty close to where we are going to make a stand and we have holder built and padded with foam that I put it in along the side of the top. I don't change the leg length as they are setup at the right height for my seat.

I also carry a set of Primos trigger sticks, the tall bipod model that fit in another set of hangers just behind me. If I need to get a steady rest for a standing shot I use them or if we have to walk in farther than normal, I go to them as well for lightweight and portability.

Should have mentioned, this is all for night hunting.

Had one, sold it. If you need a lightweight portable rest that is not super stable and a pain to set up, it's OK. I have moved on to others that work better for me.

I have one and I like it well. It is great for stand hunting but is a little cumbersome if you are moving around a lot. I use the Vangard Scout shooting sticks when moving around a lot. They are very light, adapt to any terrain, swivel V rest, extendable and fit in my vest back pouch.
 
Ive had one for 2 years and its the cats meow for Crow and Groundhog Huntin. Set up in the shade and cover the
Pod/Rifle with a Snipers veil and have a blast. Love Targets of opportunity LOL!
Thinking strongly about getting the Chair Pod for Night hunting.

I've been using one for 2 years now and I love it yes if an animal comes in behind you it's hard to turn around but I shot a crow at 285 yards (yes I ranged it with a rangefinder) with my .204 and I've taken several foxes and a few coyotes while using it excellent for the price cabelas ran it for like $70 two Black Fridays ago
