Caller pic for the upcoming season

Temps are starting to drop, first frost in the north country can be just weeks away. Thoughts turn from fish to to fur and feather. What will be your goto callers for the up coming season.

I'll be going into my first hunts with a FP Patriot and a Wildlife Tech. I like the compactness of the Patriot and the remote of the WT.

AZ, UT and NM are my goals this year. A loop through western AZ, I've never hunted SE UT but traveled through it a lot and liked it a lot.

We are finally getting a little relief from 110-115, but not for long.

I might have to pack my bags and move out West.

It's crazy here in SC. One week the grass is dead and crunchy, the next week it's pretty and green. Then repeat.

But we have single digit humidity if thats any consolation. Just means you don't proof before you bake.

I'm in NM but lived in MN I've had to break ice on Labor day to set ADC beaver traps and bounced frozen tomatoes off the barn wall. Always expected the first frost about then. Kept the blankets for the garden handy starting Labor day.

We're high here in NM and the temps have dropped seven not the mid 90s might even stay that way for awhile.

I just picked up a foxpro hellcat pro, seems to be lightweight enough to backpack in without much effort. Excited to give it a shot

ICOTEC Saber, but I plan on going back to hand calls more this year. Picked up the Jack on Crack and Crazy Tail from Resse Outdoors and they threw in the Ghost Runner for free. It has a really unique sound that should be different than anything else heard out where I'll be hunting. I'm psyched!

I'm thinking, the more tools you have to bring them in the better.
