Do i want a 0 free bore chamber or do I want some free bore?

For the bullets you mention, you probably want some free bore. Exactly how much I don't know, I'm not familiar with that bore and those bullets. But I'd be looking into it pretty heavy if I was barreling for any particular bullet. Long for caliber bullets generally are going to need some free bore for best fit, but if these are very short bearing surface bullets, maybe not so much.

I'd be measuring ogives and such.

Ordered a criterion stainless match finish prefit, ground lug and squared barrel nut from NSS today. 12-22 week wait.
24", 1-7.5 twist, MTU CONTOUR, fluted, 11° crown, threaded 5/8x24, bead blast finish.

Once I get the parts, I'll contact SSS to schedule action and bolt squaring and timing and install of the barrel.
If I'm lucky it will be done for Christmas but I'm not holding my breath.

I would try Kevin Rayhill, Stockage Gun Stocks. He's a Savage guy. I didn't have much luck with SSS.
