Has anyone had sucess calling in pigs?
What type calls did you use?
I am going out tomorrow on a private ranch that has had lots of pig activity recently.

The owner has killed several and I know of a couple more that have been killed on the ranch.

Had a lot of luck calling javelina but feral hogs do not respond well to any cold calling. I have had luck calling hogs closer that I have glassed or found feeding but responses have always been less than enthusiastic. On those occasions I've used a short range coaxer. Really the best hog hunting is spot and stalk or tower shooting over a feeder.

i have alot of hogs come in to the jackrabbit squall.the hog sounds havent work.but bear in mind i have to many hogs on my place.the first 2-3 times they came in i thought it was they where just comming through.then i let them come all the way in.they will stick their nose up in the air trying to smell the fx3.i stopped useing the jack squall for yotes ever time i use it hogs come in.

My friend got a hog distress tape for his caller and he shot something like 6 hogs in a matter of minutes. He said they were all under 50lbs though.

okay this question was asked in another section also

right now I'm averageing 50/50,but after reading some of ya'lls post,I'm gonna try some distress stuff.I have a razorback call on order,so if it does any good I'll be sure to post about it.The Blackgold works at least, where I hunt.It works better than diesel.

okay for some reason it ain;t working, thats supposed to be ubbthreads, but it's putting up periods instead.
