I got to thinking last night that so far this year I've lucked into two cow horns that had especially unique color hiding under the nasty outter shell. People need to understand alot of effort goes into working with raw horn and sometimes it takes alot of elbow grease to get to the prize under the shell. These are both few and far between as far as unique patterning and color. I'm hoping that I haven't used up my horn karma for the year on these two. It's almost like panning for gold and finding a nugget when you get past the shell and the colors/patterns start to really show. Callmakers and handcallers, post up some of your favorite polished cow horn pics if you wouldnt mind, I'm sure we'd all like to have a look-see.
