Camo covers for rifles...really cool!

I was just reading about camo-ing your rifle with spray paint and stincels etc. That is a good idea if you plan to keep the rifle for ever. I would suggest another option. I thought I would let everybody across the board know that "Kanes Products" are not out of buisness. There has been a real nasty roomer that says they were. They have the coolest camo cover for your rifles. They protect every inch of your stock and come in all kinds of camo patterns. They run about $25 dollars is all. You can find them at www.highlandersports.com or if you want to see a picture of them go to www.basspro.com and type in "Gun chaps" in there search option. Give them a call and they will tell you all about them. They also make neopren scope covers that are camo that keep the H20 off of your optics. I too have a hard time justifying spray painting an outfit that I have paid over a thousand dollars for. This is a great company...you should all check it out! If anybody has any questions just ask me. It took me a while to track these covers down, so if you can't find them let me know.

i have painted my gun and i am happy with it but i would not recommend doing so if u think u may ever trade or sell the gun.mine turned out well i painted it black first and then stenciled over that with brown tan and green and it came out looking good, even had some friends thinking of doing thiers the same.sorry i dont have a pic.or i would post it.if u entend on keeping the gun for life it is a good way to go although u will most likely have to touch up once or twice a year depending on how much u use the gun and the type of steel use in the making of ur gun.mine is stainless with a hogue overmolded stock and a harris bipod and i painted all of it.of course u need to disassemble the gun and tape and plug barrel and tape the action so u dont mess up the action or berrel.good luck
