Camo form tape

I've used it on 2 rifles. It works fine and stays in place pretty good. I've never got it wet, so I can't comment on the residue. It's much cheaper on EBay also.

+1 I use cloth and even white first aid tape when to snow flies. If I wanted to paint a rifle I would send it to the pro's and have it baked and clear coated.

I went to my local tractor supply store and picked up some Vet wrap in a tan with brown spots sort of a miniature giraffe pattern .

works pretty well and leaves no residue that I can see. They also have white , green n white and a few other colors that could work.
Prices were about half of what the same stuff cost at the big sporting goods chain stores.

x2 if you are going to go this route

mossyoakgraphics.com I just ordered a kit and am really happy with how it turned out. Take your time doing it and watch instructional videos. Its nearly impossible to make it perfect but i would say mine came out 95% perfect with a few wrinkles in it. Looks like i sent it out and had it dipped. Cant go wrong for the money.
