Camo sleeves for AR?

I thought I had read on here about the neoprene type sleeves that slide over portions of the AR that are Camo/snow, etc. Does anybody have any info on these? I can't find them.

Thanks,

Sammy

I haven't been able to find any either. You may want to look at sleeves for shotguns. Those may work for AR's.

I'd bet if someone came out with a neoprene stock and freefloat tube, maybe barrel cover they would sell, especially in the winter.

Guys,
Shoot me a PM about what you want. I have a very small company that specializes in neoprene covers and sleeves for predator hunting equipment. I can make what ever you are looking for from your measurements . I have white and also camo neoprene.

Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.

Been looking for that sort of thing myself.....can always make something home-made pretty easily, but it would be nice to have something that fits right & wouldn't slide around.

Whites for the stock & ff-tube would be perfect!

You might try a company called Beartooth Products. They make them for rifles and shotguns in all sorts of patterns. I have three sets (barrel, forearm, butt stock, and scope) and they are nice. They fit like a glove and protect from nicks and dings. Just be carefull to take them off if your out in the rain or expect some rust.

I was working on such a product out of camo lycra for ARs. I never really got the project off the ground past a few prototypes. Worked well, but more of a money crunch thing for going into production. It's still a great idea that I wish someone would take and run. If someone wants to, just holler at me and I'll share the info.

Ive made my own with old camo shirts in both white and standard camo. Very simple to do, I also made them for the scopes.

Here are pics of two sample sleeves I made tonight for front tubes. Coyotejunki gave me the measurements for his tube. My 308 ar has pic rails on the tube and is much larger in diameter so these are displayed on a peice of cardboard tube the same diameter as Coyotejunki's tube. I will be working on a rear stock cover in the next few days

These are made of neoprene and the white would be $9.00 + $3.00 S/H

Camo upgrade is $1.00

Thank you for looking,

That'll work!

If anybody's thinking about these for your AR, I can guarantee you'll be pleased. I spent a couple of days at a table with Jeremiah and Mrs. Jeremiah at the Predator Expo this year in Columbus Ohio. You won't find better folks to deal with, or products with more attention to detail!!

I think the neoprene would be great. Those float tubes get cold in the winter time. Can you make a camo cover for the barrel and gas block as well? Or maybe a one piece on that would cover the barrel, gas block, and the float tube? My Armalite has a stainless barrel. I don't want to paint it, or coat it.

PaPa 260,

I can make the barrel cover and tube covers seporately. The gas block cover I will have to look into but most gasblocks are black anyways.

The sleeve Jeremiah made for my AR15 slid right on easily, and looks great. I may have to order a matching sleeve with shell holders to fit over my butt stock to match.
