I am looking for some good, affordable camo. I deer hunt as well, so I would like to be able to use it for both. I have had just about everything, I recently bought some from Academy and I am not pleased at all. Of course it is the Game winner brand and I am pretty sure it won't last this season. I was just wondering if anyone knew of somewhere that sold it besides Basspro,Cabelas,or Academy? Thanks.

Try Camofire.com. They run daily deals on all brands of camo and different hunting accessories. I wear a lot of core4element brand camo. It's top notch and it won't break the bank either. It's identical to the Sitka stuff but I've owned both brands and prefer core4. They make realtree max1, mountain mimicry and realtree ap patterns.

Have you tried a ghillie suit from APC?
They now have the Sapper Kill Suit, which is a knee length coat, made of strips instead of strings.

yep, kill suit or kill sapper. put it on over whatever you need for the weather conditions that day. it's light, cool on hot days, and fits over my cold / wet gear also. site sponsor.

I have A sapper suit. The strings are getting on my last nerve though, I have more stickers and sticks and twigs than you can imagine. Does anyone have the one made with strips? Are they making it in the sapper suit yet?

Oh, I understand about the sticks and twigs.
I have to bushhog mine every couple of hunts.
