Can a 308 sizer die be used to neck size only a 30-06 case?

I have a Lyman .308 FL die set but no '06 dies. I want to simply neck size some once fired 30-06 brass (not fired in the same gun I'm loading for). The brass I want to use all chambers well in the rifle I'd be loading for so FL resizing may not be necessary. Is that possible to do and is it workable?

Yes.
The shoulder diameter is larger on the 308 so using it to neck size 30-06 should work.
