Canis Latrans Brand Jerky

Just finished reading a book about Lewis and Clark. It says that east of Montana they got so sick of elk that they'd trade it for dog whenever they got the chance.

If people will pay to eat snails, frog legs, octopus, lobster, etc. then I think we can find a market somewhere! Get the Madison Avenue boys working on it.

That's what I think. My wifey won't eat cotton-tail flavored bunny. Go figure. There is no better "tastes like chicken", type of meat anywhere.

One of my boys from Mexico (at work) thought I was nuts for only skinning a badger and not making chicharones out of it!!

I pay about $30-$50 per pound to eat snails. Many think snails repulsive but the market determines the price. Apparently, there is a lot of demand.
Jack, I live in Oregon and in the rainy winters here we have lots of snails and slugs. Heck a slug is just a snail without a shell. I will ship you all you can eat for $20.00 pound and throw in some "I cant believe it's not butter" (got to watch that cholesterol) for dipping them in for free!

I'd definitely try it. As you all know, squirrels are extremely tasty but to people who never ate them, it sounds gross, so until proven otherwise, I'd definitely try the coyote jerky. C'mon: Sushi, escargot, frog legs, etc. Who would think they were any good until you try it?

The Koreans and VC seem to think dog meat is pretty good, also. Don't knock it til you've tried it.
