I also looked heavily at the TC Venture. I am a TC fan and have an encore pistol as well as two TC Hawken 50 cal rifles. They make quality guns. I read many reviews on the Venture and found many complaints on light primer strikes. Also customer service has went down hill since Smith & Wesson took them over. I due to this I steered away from the Venture.
