Case Neck Trimming

Does anyone have a suggestion of a Micrometer an outside case neck trimmer that they have been happy with.

Any experience with the RCBS Case Master Gaging Tool?

thanks for the thoughts,

Ted

If you are speaking of a case neck micrometer, to measure thickness, I would suggest any well made ball micrometer and a stand. Sinclair sells a great set up. If you are looking for a micrometer adjustable case neck turner, there are several fine tools on the market. Hart, K&M, and Nielson are very well made and popular. If you are looking for a case length trimmer, the Sinclair unit, with the micro-adjust, is great.

I have a RCBS Case master gauging tool and like it a lot I also use a vernier Ball Mic also from RCBS. I seldom turn case necks, but I do trim new cases and after they show some streach. I have an old Forister outside neck turner for when I have to turn a neck. I use my RCBA case turner for trimming though, and RCBS has just come out with an outside neck turner that looks prommising.
