Case tumbler

After many years of use my vibratory tumbler has went out on me. I’ve been thinking about trying the Frankford Arsenal stainless media tumbler but wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with one. Are they worth the money or should I just replace it with one similar to what I’ve been using? Thanks in advance!

I've owned one for 3 years and would buy it again! My son used mine and he bought one after that.
Can't go wrong with the Frankford.

I love mine. It is a little more involved with wet tumbling using SS media but my experience with dry vibratory tumbler was that it was dusty and just did a so, so job on getting the brass really clean.
Since I changed to the Frankford Arsenal SS Tumbler, my brass comes out looking factory new. Since it does take a little more time to clean a batch of brass I find myself not cleaning as often, I just save up the brass to be cleaned until I have a couple hundred rounds and then do them all at one time.
I would recommend getting the Frankford Arsenal magnet as well. It will pick up all your stainless steel pieces quickly.
When I am done rinsing out my brass I spread the brass out on a bath towel and then run my heat gun (you can also use a blow dryer) over it with one hand while moving the brass around with the other. I do that for about 15 minutes or so and then let the brass dry inside and out completely on its own.

I own a Frankfort Arsenal Wet Tumbler and if it werent such an efficient and bullet proof TANK, id have two more! I really am sold on wet tumbling and if I wasnt a lazy sh1t, id post a picture of MOUNDS of shiny brass that went in scrungy and came out sparkly!

I wish I made the switch LONG ago! For what its worth, you can find em in the neighborhood of $140-$160 if you do some looking.

I like my FA tumbler, I haven't even used the pins. I use hot water,a cap of Jungle Jake cleaner degreaser(fleet farm) 30-40 minutes. Rinse with hot water, dry, ready to size. I usually run smaller batches of brass,50-100, I fill up the container completely with water after brass and cleaner(limits any foaming).
