Please decide which way ya wanna swing. It either is or isn't. Not both.

Laffin....

Sooooo....
Which is it ?

I beleive that the quality ones people a picking up from wally world are batch specific so far I've bought 3 leaving one running perfect 1st one had some kind of oil residue on inside making the image blury the second was clear but the elevation knob crapped on me while zeroing the 3rd one has been running strong for the last year or so been zeroed a few times for diffrent rounds and dialed in and out no problems so far It tokk 3 tries but I'd say I've gotten my 65 bucks out of it

Tim....dog...my stance is obvious.....the scope is a great scope. Mine is clear at all powers....super clear....now it may not be as clear as a $500 hundred dollar scope....but I'm not stupid enough to buy one when a $70.00 will do just fine. Maybe you are....? It's people like you who have nothing to say....but love to start crap. Read my signature please.

i put one on my 338 win mag when i got it just to be able to shoot til i got better glass. two years and many rounds later, it's still on it and holding zero.not the clearest in the world, but definitely rugged and entirely useable

You are the one that disagreed with your own post. Tim & Doggin are just pointed it out.We know you feel cheap scopes are where it is at,just because others don't, doesn't make them stupid.Originally Posted By: Crowsniper.17HMRTim....dog...my stance is obvious.....the scope is a great scope. I have 3 of them, you cant beat them for the price,I have one on my air gun,.222 and AR-15.For intermediate shooting they are great. For long range stuff of course my Leupolds, and Nikons get the nod.

Baystate.....what type of airgun do you shoot? I have a PCP .177 cal Discovery topped with the CenterPoint 4-16. Works great. I also have the same glass on my Savage .17HMR.

I have had one on my RRA for over a year now. Not a complaint in the world about. Next I would like to get one for the .308 cal. We will see what it does on a high recoil gun.

I think the inexpensive scopes have their place. I recently got a new rifle and was unsure what power range, reticle etc I should go with. I used a Leapers scope as a placeholder to decide before I spent the money on a more expensive model.
