central va fox hunting

Very true I only have 35 acres to hunt. I myself have never seen a yote on my land not on camera or while hunting. I've heard them while camping during the summer but they were a ways off. As for grays I've had one run out the tractor shed one time years back and I've seen them on my property. I've called my larger field and had no luck and I've called in the woods with no luck. In all honesty I probably just need to make more stands and learn from each one. Im planning on having FoxPro before this weekend so I'll see how this weekend plays out. Hopefully I can find more property to hunt too. That way I can try target not only fox but yotes too.

I've had the best luck with greys while calling roads leading to large fields. I don't know if it kind of funnels them in and gives you better shooting lanes or what. Light lines work great too. I called in two yotes one night about 250 yards to my right. They stalled. At the same time a gray fox came out just down from them. I was done. The two yotes chased that fox to the woodline then all I heard were the yotes sounding like they were thearing that fox up.
