Check out the new Ruger Precision Rifle

I gave the 6.5 creed a look until I read its sporting a 1:10 twist tube.. I personally think they botched it by not going 1:8 twist for the 140's.. But it will probably shoot the 123 and 130 grain bullets OK..

The 6.5 does have the 1:8 twist. Looks like it does a great job shooting the 140 gr bullets.

I hope they release just the "chassis" for it. If someone wants to customize it, they shouldn't have to replace the grip, handguard, stock, etc. I'm sure the trigger is good, but if people have their preferences, it also sucks that you can't swap it out. Overall a nice package if you like it as is though. Ruger is definitely stepping it up.

The Creedmore is definitely 1:8

Looks like a solid rifle, especially if they all shoot like Frank's did in the review. It's very modular, takes several several magazines, and I like the AR style safety.

My only areas of concern is the quality of the trigger and the grip. I'm not sure how I feel about an AR grip on a bolt rifle.

Looks like an American action with interchangeable bbls? They say bbls can be interchanged with AR tools, but doesnt say about using AR bbls......maybe AR bbls sans extension? Interesting......

Just nailed the twists, it's almost unbelievable to see, if they come out with a 7 twist 22-250 they'd have the complete set.

That 243 with a 26" tube... Oh the options 105's up to the 115's.

I'd throw the ergo tactical deluxe with palm shelf hand grip on, looks as though they've rendered having to get the prs stock moot, all the way down to having the built in pic. rail for a monopod.

I hate ruger and this is just, at least from what can be seen given it's new, just amazing.

I love my 223, love it, they come out with a 7 twist 22-250 and I'll sell it knowing I'll regret not keeping it.

$1400.00 is a lot of cheddar for a unproven factory offering. We are way into custom territory here. Will have to let some other folks bite first and give good reports first. We'll see.

Way into custom territory? Build a rifle using a chassis and barrel with proper twist is well over the 1,000 to 1,100 price they are already selling for already and doing something no other rifle available will do by accepting nearly every 308 base mag out there on top of that..... Frank gave pretty goon info on it and review and he will tell I like it is. Only problem I see with it is not offering a chamber I'm interested in.

I watched Franks review over on SH, he liked it so much, he had ruger send him the very rifle he shot in Texas.. He doesn't sugar coat anything.. And I would think for a custom with the same options as this rifle would cost over 2 grand at least.. I'm definitely in the hunt for one in the creed, as soon as my dealer acquires one, I'm all over it. Frank shot a .5 minute group with his at 850 yards with hornady factory match ammo, not to shabby.
