How about bookmatched maple burl call blanks! I got a box of maple burl in the mail today. I knew that 3 sets were bookmatched, but I found a fourth as well. This is a first for me. They should make some nice open reed/closed reed or open reed/howler sets (expecially the bottom center and right sets).

my son loves the calls i got from you.
i gave them to him for his birthday
he got out sunday and called in 4 coyotes
he killed two and wounded the dodge
i told him he should get it mounted like its driving out of the wall.
he may never live that mistake down
he realy liked the cotton tail said he had howlers or responces every time he used it.
i've had my best luck with jack rabbit sounds this year and only killed one with a cotton tail and howler.
looks like there is some more great calls hiding in that wood

That's some awesome wood Jeremy! I know you'll do it well! Had a guy tell me this, I'll just pass it along. Put 1 piece in a paper bag and bring it in the house...this time of year it's amazing how fast the low humidity in your house will dry it out. Just one at a time incase it causes it to split from drying to fast.

Thats some pretty wood. Where do you find burl maple. I went to three wood stores today and didnt find anything with much of a figure to it.
