Ok I soaked mine in hornady one shot sonic cleaner. I just soaked it in the solution don't have a sonic cleaner just used and aluminum tin pan for under a grill for grease catch and let it soak over nite. I'm glad I took it apart when I did. I used a screw driver to scrape the more stuburn stuff off. Pretty much got all it off just by soaking.
