Cleaning up gear today and realized how dusty my setup gets

Spent a couple of hours in the garage today cleaning up the rifles and gear after last weekend's dusty outing.

Man, fine dust and dirt find their way into every single nook and cranny. Was wiping down the thermal scope and checking the lens, making sure everything is good to go for the next time I can actually escape the house.

Anyone else have a specific cleaning routine for their optics, or do you just wipe 'em down and throw them back in the case?

Whether it's a day scope or a thermal, I keep always keep them covered with the 6mm thick Scopecoats, & only take them off at the setup.

I also use the scope coat type covers, even for optics with flip-up lens covers. Worse is the prairie dog runs. I like the idea of a blow off system. May have to see if there is cordless leaf blower that works with the DeWalt batteries I have.
