I bought this rifle a few years back as a considered "post ban" model and was considering selling it since I never shoot it and it does not have the full assault rifle look without the flash hider. Could I have a gunsmith thread the end of the barrel where the "so called muzzle brake" is pinned to, since there is a step down in diameter size at the end of the barrel and purchase a flash hider? I take it this is where the flash hider threads to on pre-ban models or current models when performed at the factory.

Yes, the barrel can be threaded and a flash suppressor or break can be installed. Check your state laws, but in Minn. the "ban" is gone......
