Combined Technology & lubalox

Has anyone tried or using the Combined Technology bullets
with the lubalox coating? I'm wondering if the black
coating helps to cut down or eliminate copper fouling.
Or does the bore just foul with the lubalox instead of the copper or with both.

I use these bullets in a number of cal and they don't foul as bad as the regular jacketed bullets and the barrels clean up with just a few patches and Butch Bore Shine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

My 25-06 Rem. loves the 85 gr. BTs, but it also loves the
just plain copper Nosler version of the same bullet.
This 25-06 Rem., is a Tikka M695, and the barrel has
always cleaned up extremely easily. Being hand
lapped, may have something to do with that, but regardless,
the CT bullet use, also cleaned up easily, and I have never
had issues with build up of Lubalox. I am not sure the
BT versions are worth the extra money over the Nosler cousins,
but I found mine on sale, less than the Noslers, and in
that case, the purchase was a no brainer. I would buy more,
if I found another deal.

I use the CT 50gr. in my .223. Usually, the first group is unacceptable 1.5". After that, I can usually get .5" groups if I do my part.
