comparative bobcat size

Here are a couple of pictues of an Alabama bobcat. This specimen is above average size for these parts. How does this compare to the western variety ?

A black Alabama coyote. Do you run into these in other parts of the country ?

I can't answer on the cat but we have a few black dogs around, I have been trying to call a cerian one I have located for two years. The only time I see him is when there isn't a shot opportunity, his days are numbered! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Those are some big cats. Ours in the Carolinas are no bigger than a big housecat.

I have only gotten 2 cats both were about the same size. The one I a a digital pic of was a little smaller than the other.

I am 6'2" and 250 pounds. I am not sure on the weight on this one, but it had to be over 20lbs for sure.

It is interesting how different they can be. Watching video and looking at pics fro mTX for example typically shows a way smaller bob than what i see around here.

I have gotten two cats. The first I arrowed while deer hunting which was 29" from the nose to the base of the tail, the other was 35".
