Does anyone know where I can find a drop in composite stock for a Ruger M77VT in 220 Swift? My stock has taken a beating but the gun is still driving tacks. Thanks.

Let me know if you find anything. I have the same model 77 and have been looking around for a aftermarket stock for mine.

I really love the Hogue OverMolded stocks. They are fantastic! The rubberized feel is sure grip even when soaking wet. Try one and I believe you will agree.

I have one on a Ruger 10-22 and I want them on all my Remington 700's. They make them for Ruger M77 long and short action. Aluminum bedding blocks or without.

Again they are great stocks. You will not be disappointed.

I wish you luck ... but honestly, I don't think you'll find anything. You'd be better served finding a replacement laminated stock like the factory version. These rifles are good shooters, and part of the reason is the stock fitment.

And with THAT said ... look what I just found hiding in my closet ......

LOL ...no, and I don't think it will do the original poster any good either ... it's a short action inlet off a .223

I believe Bell and Carlson makes a stock for the M77. I have one that's in need of a diet as well. 11+ lbs isn't fun to carry around all day!!
