Concealed Carry????

Im either wearing a Glock 20 10MM or a Dan Wesson 4 inch bobtail 1911 in 10mm. I used to carry a 3 inch S&W 629 but there just are not too many good concealment holsters for it.

Anytime I leave the house, it's a Glock 26 or 19 IWB at 4 o'clock and a KelTec P3AT in one of my pockets. I pay lots of money every month for insurance that I hope I never have to use....packing a concealed weapon costs me nothing and I hope I never have to use it either. For the last 40 years I have never found it to be the least bit inconvenient either.

By the way, my wife either has a S&W 642 or a KelTec P32 in her purse with her all of the time. Most of our friends would probably be shocked to find out that we pack all of the time. They have no clue and what they don't know ain't never gonna to hurt 'em. Might even help if the fan ever gets dirty!

if you need 17 rounds you are going to be in big trouble, you need a gun you can shoot without thinking.everything changes when you are in a life or death confrontation, even your vision.so practice and go over in your mind what you would do if you ever got in that situation.before it ever happens you will need this before you need 17 rounds.

I've carried a handgun on and off duty for almost 30 years, and as I felt necessary for the last 17 years as a retiree... Not counting my 'on-duty' experiences, there has only been one time that I felt it necessary to expose a weapon by just reaching for it (subject exited stage left in a hurry).

I can tell you from experience, comfort and convenience will outweigh the need for high capacity or really high power 99% of the time.

It won't be of any use to you if it's home in a drawer/safe due to discomfort or weight. An 8-shot Kel-Tec .32 in your pocket is much better than a 15 round Beretta in your car when you are walking into a 'stop & rob' to pay for gas or a soda.

+1 on that.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I like a double action revolver because they are pretty much idiot proof. Have no doubt, you will become an idiot in a high stress situation.

My everyday carry is a S&W 340pd I'm also thinking about backing that up with a Keltec I just can't get over the looks of the dam thing(not that it matters)

Kel-Tec P-11 with belt clip, or Para LTC .45 in Milt Sparks Versa Max II holster.
