Considering doing this

I actually considering doing this to my little PCC / AR-9 /AR-15 in 9mm (which ever term one wishes to apply to it).
By installing...
Arc-Fire Trigger (non-ambi) by As-Designs. A Forced Rest Trigger.
And then adding a C.A.R.L (round limiter to three rounds, which would be similar to a three round burst). Made by Stuff and Things (S / T).
Not full auto rather simulates 3round burst with both items installed. It still is requiring the need pull of the trigger to met NFA requirements of semi - auto vs full auto. Not worth a crap for anything other than giggle factor at a range, and / or home defensive measures.

Thoughts and experience on using / installing these.
As I said currently in a just considering stage. From what I can gather is a bit harder effort / tuning than say dropping them in say my M-4 clone.

ETA some my not fully understand what exactly I'm referring to , so here is a sort of long drawn out video of the two items I reference above.

no need, just get a EPT (enhanced polish trigger) from Palmetto state armory. the one that came with my PCC AR/ 9 pistol caused 3 round bursts :)

I'm surprised more have not jumped into the conversation / thought.
Maybe lack of interest? or ? , maybe just uncomfortable with the topic for various reasons?

so maybe some pics might incur a little bit more interest. (heck we all like looking at gun porn LOL)

Here she is disassembled showing off her 3.5" barrel (yes she is stamped IAW with the NFA for all Items.)

here without the YHM Wraith XL 45 Subgun Suppressor mounted (yep I expanded the size of the pic so one could kind of see where the Flash hider is in the handguard, no I don't shoot it without the suppressor, If I did I'd most likely remove the handguard)...

Atlas fully assembled for home /self defense .....

26" OAL fully collapsed buttstock . Which I could shorten even more with say a YHM R9 (approx 3" shorter), & other vendors offering to the end of the existing handguard (22")

There was reasons I went with the 3.5" barrel vs a 5" or even a 8" ...
a. portability (shortness)
b. took a lesson from the MP-5SD, while the MP-5SD did have a 5" barrel it also had a series of "threaded bleed holes" into the barrel which had the ability to make even the hottest 115gr load subsonic. While the barrel was threaded (M18x1) behind the holes for a suppressor cover the bleed holes to make for a extremely quiet operation. The delayed roller also made for a extremely manageable system. If you have never shot a true MP-5 SD and ever get the chance .... do it.. absolutely a joy to stay on target.
My thought was the 3.5" barrel length would pretty much do the same thing as what HK did with the bleed holes.

Ok enough with my love for the MP-5SD... Back to the AR version which does match my budget better.

For this one I do see where I will need a mill operation in the Bolt (on the bolt weight that is pinned in), for the Arc-Fire trigger to do it's operation. There "might" be also a milling operation in the Lower as well. Easy way to tell is to simply buy the Arc-Fire and see.

You will need a full auto rated suppressor. I 2as told this by a dedicated black gun fan. I am not. I have way more single shots than autos. That still holds true if I include the handguns. Sort of old fashioned.

Yeah the existing can is full auto rated, as it's a SMG can so yeah that part is met.

The part that is killing or rather causing great concern is future legality. Now if Congress would simply strike the part in the FOPA that banned new MG's yeah I would much rather form 1 the lower, and install the A2's trigger group (3 round burst). The allure of full auto was over in my late 20's to early 30's , three round burst is however still cool to me today. Mag dumps is IMHO a waste of ammo. So yeah I'm still on the fence so to speak. Especially in the 9mm, (my 5.56mm's not so much) as I can see it as a enhancement to usage in the house for pure defensive mode. Which is why I mentioned the C.A.R.L device to prevent mag dumps.
Not too sure I would call myself a dedicated "black gun fan". While I do have a few of them, I have way more bolt and single shots than black guns.

I wouldn't worry about the future. I believe more bunp stocks were made than were turned in. How many short barrel ARs are out there when an 10 inch upper is less than 400 bucks.
