Always a good quote in your vids.

I think you need to show off the phone mount. That was a good idea. Any trouble with the phone "timing out" and having to enter a code or whatever to get it back into action for quick remote work? I know on my Iphone it does that, and the touch does not work with gloves on.

Thanks Guys.

Stu....I believe that phone holder is made by intelisight. We are in the process of building our own and hope to have it on the market by the fall.

I like the mount as it puts the screen right at my fingertips for easy, fast access. It also allows me to film the action using my phone. We are working on integrating a video feature into our app so that once you get a coyote coming in all you have to do is touch a button on the screen and it begins filming. Being that your phone is attached to your rifle you get all the action including the shot on film. So far we have had no negative effect from recoil to the phone even when shooting it on my LaRue 7.62 and the Head Down 6.8. These phone now days are built very tough.

Mr. Hammer,

Some of my friends call these off the cuff comments "Byronisms" :)

Two things....

1. You can go into your phone settings and set it to where it wont time out. We designed several features into both the app and the bullet that separates it from standard Bluetooth. You can leave your phone set to where it will accept phone calls and messages without disrupting your hunt. You simply mute your incoming messages and ringtone. If you receive a text, phone call, or email while calling the bullet nor the app is affected.

2. You are correct that your screen does not work with standard gloves on. However there are lots of different gloves on the market now that have fingertips on then that are designed to work phone touch screens. We are looking at making these available on our website. For me though this has not been a problem as I always cut my fingertips out of my gloves (If I wear them at all).

By the way...The app is free to download. If you have a Bluetooth speaker already you can test it out to see it you like it. Be aware though that standard Bluetooth speakers only work to about 33 ft where the bullet works out past 200 ft. Other speakers also don't have our patent pending decoy nor the volume, clarity, or durability and most are not made in the USA.

We have been testing, evaluating, and tweaking this system for over a year now and have called in and shot a pile of critters with it. Our goal was to utilize the very newest of technology to build a caller that was full of features, loud, clear, durable, compact, made in the USA, and at a price that was affordable. By the way one of my favorite things about it is the fact that I'll never have to buy batteries for it. It uses an internal lithium/ion battery that will last over two days of calling before it needs a charge.

The coolness continues.....The sound is so good you can also use the bullet for music at parties, at camp, BBQs etc..IT ROCKS!!! Just use you regular music player on you phone and you are in bizness.

The 6.8 sure cuts down on spinners too

Truth is where I hunt we run into a lot of hogs too. The 6.8 covers all the bases here and does a great job on both coyotes and hogs. Haven't shot a deer with it yet but after killing LOTS of hogs with it I have no doubt if will work very well.

so you pay $250 for the call. download the App and only get 6 sounds and have to pay for the rest? i got 6 out of 50 sounds. going to cost me $26 more to get the rest of the sounds. why not just include 50 sounds like everyone else on the market?? i mean i havent seen many calls out there in years that didnt come with atleast 50 sounds.

One more thing, and I hate to sound like im picking. but it seems like it would fall over easy unless it was set on really flat ground. does it have something to steady it up like if you are on a hillside? thanks

Sharpshooter,

That works out to about 50 cents per sound and we feel that is a bargain. Lots of work, time, effort, expense goes into not only developing high quality sounds but building apps. Sorry but we can't just give it away. However we feel that the cost is great value.

There is a stainless steel stake that you can screw into the bottom that allows you to stick it into the ground. It you are in rocky or frozen ground you just sit it up and its pretty stable even without the stake.

The idea behind the design it to get the speaker and the decoy up higher off the ground for better sound, and to make the decoy more visible. It also helps to get better reception. When not in use it collapse down into a more compact package.

Hope this answers your questions.

Byron- I did download the app. I expect in a tuff spot, (like my caller not working, or an impromptu hunt where you don't have my caller with me caller), I could use just the internal phone speaker to call in something. Just the phone is fairly load if conditions are right.

For a relatively affordable caller I think 6 sounds is sufficient. I would rather have 6 good, new sounds rather than the same 50 everyone else has if I was buying my first entry level caller(entry level in price, not necessarily quality). It is just nice to see an option for those who would like an option.

Byron, what projectile are you shooting with your 6.8?

AzDiamondHeat,

Thanks...I agree.

I can assure all that this is not a toy type, Chinese product made to hit a price point. The engineering, materials, components, and build are top notch.

Something to consider.... Most guys now have 400-600 dollar smart phones. By utilizing the newest technology available we are able to use your existing phone by creating an app to control the Bullet. This saves us the cost of engineering, and building a remote controller. This savings is pasted on to you the consumer.

Yet another thing to consider.....Most all e-callers on the market today depend on external batteries that are not included in your purchase price. This is not the case with the Bullet HP. The Bullets HP is powered by a very efficient internal Lithium/Ion battery. If you look around, most all modern devices are powered this way. You will never have to purchase batteries for the Bullet HP (Huge savings).

Sounds.... As many of you know. I've been around this industry for a many years and recorded lots of sounds. The sounds on the Predator Pro app are produced by me and flat out produce results.

As with any new and innovative product there is hesitation and reservation. I certainly understand this, but this I can assure you is just another step up much like going from 45 records, to 8-track, to cassette tapes, to cds, to mp3s etc.

To the 6.8....I'm shooting 120 SSTs as my rifle does double duty on hogs and coyotes. I've also shot a lot of coyotes and hogs with the 110 OTMs with surprisingly good results. The 110 v-max were pretty messy on coyotes and didn't do as well on larger hogs. I haven't ried any of the more expensive bullets as I shoot a lot. With these said I've very happy with both the 120 SSTs an the 110 OTMs with a slight preference for 120 SST's.
