COON BAITS

Here are some things I use to catch coonies.(animal rights people call raccoons, coonies)I think about that everytime I harvest one and move to the next set. "That's a beautiful coonie!"

1. Peanut Butter

2. Dry Dogfood (I use Wal-Mart Ol' Roy in the red bag)

3. Flour paste with spearmint mixed in and chunks of slightly tainted catfish.

4. Shellfish oil shortening. Add 1-3 ounces of shellfish oil to 1 pound of melted shortening and let harden. This stuff is killer on coonies.

5. Fish - Don't skimp --make 'em investigate the sets. The fish can be a can of sardines, a good portion of jack mackeral, chunks of catfish or carp.

6. Chicken Eggs-- These add a visual stimulator with the white shells and all--coonies love eggs.

aluminum foil and anything that smells sweet is good baits for coon. but when you get into fish you have to watch or cats and everything else you will catch
