Last night I had some "Funny Looking" eyes come in. I new it wasn't a fox by the way it was loping in. I ussually don't shoot Coons but this one is the biggest I ever called in and I wasn't sure if he was gonna stop.....22lbs.

Dang coons! The ignorant general public think they are so cute and cuddly. I'm telling ya, what they can't eat or screw, they'll tear it up and crap on it. When I bought the farm there was so many of them around the barn and house it was like living with a troop of monkeys. I could go out at night and lip squeak multiples in. My bird feeders would be completely dismantled and all the seed they were interested in eaten, the rest spilled across the ground. They would climb onto the tractor and crap in the seat and on the hood. I took the Benelli to them and after killing a dozen right around the house they figured out the creek bottom was much safer than being up on the hill near the house.

lungbuster I'm curious about your setup. What kind of scope is that and what kind of nightforce is that? How does that scope work at night?

Thats a nice size coon I always laugh when people tell me you don't call in coons you need a dog LOL. I have called them in with hand calls before the are curious creators I think calling is more sporting then dog running. That's just me I have been told a coon can hold his own with a hound.

MB2, Scope is a red dot Tasco Propoint, works good so far, I just switched to it this year. My light is the Nighthunter 140..

Foxkiller, Fur looks pretty good, another week or so probably wouldn't hurt though....
