I have bushmaster carbon 15 and was wondering if it would be possible to put a 243 upper on it or is not made hold up to the heavier round. If I cant thinking of replacing the hole gun .
If you are talking about the .243 Winchester, the carbon 15 will not work. The lower receiver has to be the "AR-10" based lower. The .243 Winchester case is too long for the magazine on the AR-15 based rifles.
Thanks Mike should of thought before I spoke it is on 15 platform just dont know if I should buy a regualar ar 15 or 10 not real sure I like the carbon now that I have shot it some.
