Cost to reload 308

Just wondering what everyone is paying to reload a round of 308 after initial cost of dies, reloader, etc.. I have a lot of 308 ammo that I got a good deal on (47 cents/rd).. Trying to decide if I should stick with that for now or setup to reload. Thanks!

I realize it all comes down to which powder, bullets, and brass you use but just looking for an avg cost

With virgin winchester brass about $.96 a round with 168gr nosler ballistic tips. I think those bullets were bought from midway, so you could work the price down a little.

Hornady A-Max are a little more for me.

All of the components have been purchased in the last 6 months, so prices are a little high, but not terribly.

If you are not in a hurry, you can whittle the price down some, or with buying some stuff in bulk. I bought what i could find...

Not counting the brass factor, a loaded .308 round costs me approximately $0.42, that's using premium bullets and fairly common powder and primers...If I had to buy brass, the cost would be higher...

I really boils down to how much you are shooting and the quality of the ammo that you are getting for $0.47 per round..My reloads, I would consider above average in results when compared to factory offerings...

It's not a round that I shoot that often and just to obtain that caliber in reloading, if I didn't reload any others, buying factory specialty rounds would be more cost effective...

The ammo I got a deal on is the magtech M80. I've only ran about 75 rds of it down the tube and at 100 I'm shooting sub MOA most groups with my DPMS . I'll have to get it out to 4-500 yards sometime and see how it groups . I have a dillon 650 and would like to set it up for quick change and everything so I'd have about 350 into the reloading setup alone

The magtech Is only 147 gr so I'd like to have a heavier bullet.. But the cost is nice

My cost to reload is summed up with Lapua brass. Though the 308 win is relatively cheap in terms of Lapua (those who buy Lapua understand).

My varget is from Wal-Mart and was about $17.00 a pound when I bought it. I use 42.5 grains per round.

Nosler ballistic tips are $17 per hundred. Accubonds are $30.

I use GM210, the 1k was $30 if I remember.

Other than the bullets it was all prepanic price. Sorry don't feel up to the math at the moment. Regardless my wife is well taken care of in her loads.

Thats a really good price on the NBTs. Best i have been able to do is double that for 100.

WInchester brass - 28 per 50 cases
IMR4895 - 25 per pound
Fed 210 - 3.60 per 100
NBT 168gr - 20.49 per 50 bullets
