thx....the only thing I am adding is about .75 lb of PLINK PLINK ILO BANG BANG in the way of a YHM Titanium suppressor now that we can hunt with them here in INDIANA....bout 4" off the barrel maybe and then add that may even be a wash on weight and I like compact anyway.......one thing I will say that I have checked on that would set this set up off and could still fit in the pack the way u c it is a Guidos tree set up under the Shockwave in the pack and a foot climber latched to the back of the pack then u can do trees as well for about another 5 to 7 lbs tops..........good luck!!!!!!!!

I walk with the shotgun at the ready.. There have been a few each year where i walk around a cedar and there is a coyote. Talk about an easy give-me..

In southern AZ you think it's open, but it's really not and you will find that.. Those rolling grass lands have ridges and draws. You will be shocked at how often one will just "appear" out of no-where.

If you are looking for a shotgun, i suggest something, that you can beat, be reliable, not to expensive, and can shoot the 3" shells. Changable chokes too.
Spend your money on some upgraded sights for the shotgun, and use a modified choke and Hornady BB coyote shells. They just work, and do a great job.

Call, hand calls
Critter
Rifle AAAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDD shotgun + AMMO

Seat/shooting mat..... Or both of I've never called this place

Shotgun is on a sling, rifle has a 6-9" bipod, sticks are hard to carry, and everything else either fits in or clips onto my Larue man purse.

It's been a while since I have said " I wish I would have had a ....."

Rifle
Shooting Sticks
5-6 extra bullets in my pocket
Foxpro/remote with paracord sling

I carry enough crap when I deer/waterfowl hunt. I want to keep this as simple as possible.

one other thing i will add is the way I have my set up in the pic is the way I walk out at night.........more often than not here its 100/150 yards if u spot something on the walk out......but my point is when I want to walk with the shotgun I just take my rifle and leave about 4" of my shooting sticks out of my pack and take my gun sling over the sticks and my shoulder then in addition put the gun strap under my chest and waist bands for my back pack and its on like glue and doesn't move at all........then the shotgun is free for use while walking or over the right shoulder for hands free walking...........just wanted to add it so others didn't think the setup was limited to shotgun in the backpack.......also I want to add I didn't need this shotgun at night or at least I thought so early in the year but this Monday after the first night set on the walk out my dog trees a coon close to the truck so I go to the truck to get the shotgun and its at home.........next set same night calling after whatever distress i played shes whining like shes wants to chase so I started howling so then ill let my dog go and meander at that point so if something shows up to howls we got a moving decoy...either way as soon as I let her go she trees another coon only 30ft behind us so it got a pass as well because a 223 at a treed coon on slim limbs with no tree back for the bullet isnt happening......so point being we take all this JUNK for a reason to bring back fur not leave two coons treed in the woods while your dog looks at you like your a STUPID IDIOT because at that point U are because u carried the shotgun all last year day or night and now u have to walk away........lesson learned.....good luck!
