Dependent upon the area, breeding season fluctuates over a 2 month period. I don't know for sure, but I would assume coyotes are done with breeding in Texas, and may still be breeding in Canada. That has to do, again, with length of day. Your days are longer now than in Canada, but daylight will be longer in Canada as summer approaches. Estrus cycles coincide with spring, longer days, and more available prey for the pups as spring/summer arrive. See the link between the two?
