I was gonna take a picture of scat that came from a parvo infected coyote, but believe me, you don't wanna get close enough to it to take a picture....*~Whew-ee!~*
#4 Is what I got all through out my deer woods here in OK. I think I'm over-run with coyotes. I'm amazed every year when all the persimmons I know of are gone and there still showing up in the coyote crap.
Well, pretty much every subject gets covered here, that's for sure.
The important lesson from observing scat is that coyotes are omnivores....there's lots in their diet that don't include rabbits. That CAN affect your calling if they are chowing down other things that are plentiful at different times of the year.
Pinon nuts, pecans, prickly pear fruit, mesquite beans, grasshoppers, & more grasshoppers, persimmons, paw-paws, juniper berries...you name it.
In and around the farms they eat even red chili peppers & watermelons.
