Boz,
Here in my part of the country, Coyote rugs run from a low of $300 to a high of about twice that. It pays to shop around then select a Quality that YOU'RE comfortable with at a price that you want to spend. Don't make the mistake of shopping like you would for a TV set that's identical from store to store. There are reasons for a varience in pricing amongst taxidermists, and unless you're dealing with a massive taxidermy operation, that also has a massive amount of overhead to factor in, you'll generally find that quality is closely tied to price.

I charge $100 a foot, nose to base of tail on all rug mounts. This is for a mounted head, rug padding and two colors of felt border.

Boz, depends on whether you go through a taxidermist or not. If you do, it will likely run you +/- $75 or so, depending on how much work you decide to do yourself. You could also flesh and put the hides up to dry on stretchers, then send them off to a tannery like Moyle or USA Foxx yourself and save a few bucks that way. Of course, working through a taxidermist, he/she will likley double salt the hide and properly dry it before sending out, making for a better overall finished hide, and for a few bucks more will split and turn the ears, eyes and lips for you, should you decide you may one day want to mount the hide or have it rugged. I've sent out hides for customers of mine in the past that were all put up, for only my cost, plus a few bucks for the additional shipping and paperwork.
