Coyote, Wolf, or Hybrid? Florida Mystery Canine

I tried yesterday, Baystate, although I was probably too far south for the big guy in the article!

I howled up a group on Monday evening and then made 4 stands yesterday morning in that general area. No joy. I would have stayed a bit longer, but the bird hunters showed up and it turned into a shooting gallery.

Any self-respecting coyote would be laying low after 09:00 a.m.

The season is young and I have promised myself my first coyote this season after missing two last season.
 
According to those articles linked back there, Red Wolves were not placed on the endangered species list! Only a little minor local grief, if you blast him and he is a wolf!! And, if you go to court, you can take the pictures here and on Google of yotes in that color phase and claim it looked like a yote to you!! Trial by jury with 12 rednecks that got no use ofr predators eating their deer, and you're guaranteed to walk! (o;?
