Coyotes nearly killed my dog!

I just read this whole 6 page topic for the first time. I hope all continues to go well for Bullet. My Christmas wish will be for you to kill that coyote, hopefully with a gut shot so he can feel the pain for a while. I like dogs more than most people and I would pay big bucks to keep my dog alive. God bless
 
Thank you to all who have responded to Bullet's incident. Best wishes to all of you and have a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year! He's doing pretty well now and the eye seems to be responding to the new medicine. I'll try to get a pic of him over the holiday with his new green collar (his old red one was torn and blood stained) and new green sleeeping blanket (the other one was left at the Vet's office as it was blood soaked also). Once again, thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for Bullet!
 
We had an incident like this happen in July with our Jack Russel. I keep him in a 10 foot by 20 foot kennel in the back yard and I let him out when I get home from work. I had him on a 30 foot tie out one afternoon and simply forgot to put him back in the kennel that night.Two dogs that lurk around the neighborhood attacked him about midnight and as I awoke I heard the fight. I grabbed my shotgun and ran outside as the dogs ran away I could see that he was hurt really bad. With some help from my neighbor who works for a vet we nursed him back to health after about 4 weeks. I was mad at myself for leaving him out but more angry that he was attacked in my yard. Needless to say those dogs came back a few nights later and one of them is no longer with us(god rest his soul)and the other one no longer comes around(lucky for him). Hope your dog heals up and I hope you get your rug!!
