its all part of the statist plan to make more gun laws palatable to the general public - and people eat it up like it was a bowl of candy

Well it seems as though some seem to think the violence is political, at least in the above posts. I'm just asking what their solution is. If your killed in a drive by or a mass shooting attack its pretty hard to shoot back if your dead. Shooting back was what some have called a solution in past post about similar incidents.. I have no answer. I do know a lot of innocent people are dying. I'd just like to know what the solution is or at least what folks think might help. I'll argue gun rights till the day I die but sure hate seeing innocent people killed.
 
maybe the solution is capitol punishment. you kill somebody, you are sentenced to death and it is carried out. no if's, and's or but's.

a lot of the azzholes doing the killing are repeat killers. out for one reason or another. they aren't killing a second time if they are electrocuted after the first time.

we have become over pussified in america.
 
Maybe if people shot back some of the drive by things might not happen because they would have already been taken off the street.

When thugs have reason to fear victims then maybe things would slow down.

The way things are now though it may as well be against the law to defend one self and others.
It is however up to us to look out for ourselves I guess. Who else is going to do it.
 
There obviously is no single, or simple solution, Bill, but it dam sure ain't gun control! The libs have tried that for years with the same results.

On the other hand, it sure as [beeep] ain't doing away with bail, emptying the jails and turning repeat felons loose, or ignoring looting and burning and calling it "peaceful protest", now is it. Defunding (and demoralizing) law enforcement officers, throwing our borders wide open, and all the other proposed c#*%.

You'd think that the results Mayor Giuliani achieved in NYC would give those in power a clue as to one route of reducing the ridiculous gun, no, gang violence so prevalent in several large US cities which shall remain unnamed.

I tend to agree with this. I watch a few cop shows and people that are convicted of murder MIGHT get 25 years. They plea bargain and get 15. Eye for an eye. Bring back Old West laws. Maybe public hanging.
 
It's not hard at all to figure out imo. Crime was going down for decades with the policies that were in place up until recently.

But here's the rub, leftists don't want low crime rates, they need people afraid and insecure enough to beg for more restrictions and loss of liberty. So start calling police and police tactics racist. Say that our whole justice system is biased. Get society to ostracize and "cancel" anyone who disagrees, and don't defend any opposing points of view.

So don't expect crime, riots, drugs, or any other mayhem to slow down anytime soon. They're just getting started folks...Your best hope is live in a locality and state that's not too far gone yet...and hope you can hang on.

I think that a lot of people get it, we need more prisons, stricter sentencing for career criminals, and law enforcement, exactly the opposite of what the left is proposing so they can keep pushing their agenda!
