Cronk Howler Tested & proven

Hi, Went out at daylight with a friend to show him the Cronk howler in action. Walked about 200 yds and began howling immediately. At 6 min as I put the howler up to my mouth a shot rang out. My friend shot one at about 50 yds running toward me. One mile down the way we walked about 300 yds and howled after a bit. Could hear one howling more than a mile away. After 45 min decided to give it up and walk to truck. As we drove past where we were calling I saw one coming in. I shot him at just over 350 yds. Good howler Rich. Thanks

lol! wow the cronk howler almost sounds like magic!love this web site but all the sales pitches get old, sales must have gotten slow for cronk calls so rich starts up his own howling topic . F.T.P.G.C

jughead39,
I started the howling topic in order to help folks become better callers of the coyote. Money has nothing to do with my quest to help people. If I needed money, I would get a job. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good people buy a product..are happy with it....and post the good experences with it. Can't see a problem with that. Man is trying to make alittle money making calls ( high quality calls from what I hear) and good reviews are good for business. Don't see anything wrong with that.
I for one enjoyed reading his howling topic and highly appriciate knowledgable folks taking time out to post tips and answer questions. Sure enjoy it more than ..well never mind...

jughead39-- Although I have never met Rich Cronk personally, I have communicated via e-mail and on this board and let me tell you this: Rich Cronk IS NOT a man interested in lining his pockets with money. Rich Cronk has done more favors for folks than you could ever begin to imagine--and not asked or charged one thin dime for these services.

My personal experience with Rich was that I wanted some work done on a cow horn howler. Rich told me to send it to him. I sent it to him and he did some scroll work on the bell end and a couple of other nice things and sent the howler back to me. He did not charge me one thin dime and he didn't even want payment for postage. He did these things out of the goodness of his heart and for the good of the calling sport.

So, jughead39-- I really don't want to hear you spounting your bile about Rich Cronk grubbing for money by starting a topic on howlers, because you don't have a clue about this man. He is one of the GOOD GUYS and you can take that to the bank!!!

jughead39 - After you shoot 2 or 3 hundred coyotes in PA, you MAY qualify to critique another caller or call maker. Maybe.

But seeing has you have ZERO experience, give us all a break, and shut up.

jughead...you'd be lucky to have even a fraction of the talent, experience and class Mr. Cronk has....so shut it and go yap somewhere else.

-Drew

jughead man were you out of line. That was totally uncalled for. I purchased a cow horn howler from Rich Cronk and with my inexperience I was having some trouble with it and I called him and he said that if I soon didn't get it to sounding right that I needed to send it back as he felt that maybe he had sent out a bad call. He apologized and said if it was bad he would replace it no questions asked. This my friend is not a man out to make a buck. This is a man that loves this sport and is gracious enough to share his wisdom even with people such as yourself. I don't think you were aware of the respect that Mr. Cronk has on this board, but I think that you are finding out. I don't think an apology would be out of line either.

Open mouth, insert foot. I really like threads started by a master caller. You can pick up some great info. Before I came on this site I hadn't heard of Rich Cronk but I think I'm going to have to purchase one of his howlers and a killer too. If looks could kill there is no doubt those Cronks wil work wonders. Thanks for the great info Mr. Cronk.

I can't actually make claim to the "master caller" title. I know a little bit about calling, and enjoy sharing my experience with others. At the age of 64 and a few health problems to nurse, I don't get out in the field nearly as much as I once did. These days, most of my time is spent in making calls for the younger guys and helping to keep Predatormasters the best predator calling board in existance.

An as a newbie here I think you are doing a great job... The information that you pass along is a vaule to us all.

Thank You Mr Cronk !!!!!!

Jughead,

(what a fitting handle.)

Mr Cronk doesn't need anyone to defend him. Those with a lick of common sense know he's an exceptional man and an exceptional asset to this board.

You aren't making many friends here. I'd suggest cleaning up your act and fast.

If you can't be a productive member here, you won't be a member at all.

This is your ONE warning.

Randy

Hi, Sorry Rich, all I did was tell a short to the point version of our two sets yesterday. Am disapointed in jugheads response too. In the whole two or three minutes that I have spoken with you I don't really know you. But you helped me get a caller that suited me and it works like Magic. I would never have known about your calls and others if it weren't for this board and some good members participating. Thanks

Tripod, I forgot to mention you earlier. Thanks for telling us your experience with Mr. Cronk's caller. I appreciate it greatly and yes it did make me want to try one even more.

I appricate your efforts and enjoy your treads on this board very much Mr. Cronk. One of these days I'm going to have one of those calls.

Jugheads comments on the "furtakers for foxhunting" tread pretty well sums it up. The comments on this topic don't suprise me coming from him. An apology is in order...although if I were a moderator he wouldn't get a chance to. I for one had a bellyfull after the "I'll shoot all the foxes I see and leave 'em lay" statement. Thats just plain worthless!

I live way out in Western Nevada and I have nothing but great things to say about Rich. I purchased one Cow Horn Howler and one Killer Call. They are without a doubt my two most used and productive calls. This past weekend I called in three coyotes on my first stand and 4 on my second. All using his howler. Rich produces excellent calls. My calling buddies have seen how well they work and they have each ordered a Cronk howler.
One time I had damaged the reed on my Killer call and Rich was nice enough to send me a new sheet of reed material at no cost to me. That shows me that he is willing to stand behind his work and I would be willing to stand right next to him to back him up!

Tripod3,
I was happy to hear that the howling is working for you. It wasn't your fault that your thread was hijacked. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Rich
Thank you very much for the other thread.

I download those sounds & they have helped my howling.
I play your sound & try to reproduce it & it has helped.
I also put those sounds on my e-caller.

ALL for FREE

Somebody is way out of line.

Thank you Sir- you have helped this old man.
