The decoys that snowbound is talking about is simply a shirt hanger taken apart and bent into position then take and cut out two silouhettes like the hanger is shaped and hot glue the two side together then cut out two triangles for wings and hot glue them on and they will flap in the wind very nicely. I'll see if i can't get a pic but they are extremely easy to make.

You guys have me going.I've a touch of cabin fever and I haven't hunted crow in a long time. I still have a couple of decoys I guess I'll try making a few more. I'm from Mass and we can only hunt them I think it's Friday, Saturday and Mondays now go figure huh. Anyways I'll check and see if they're open now and givem a whirl.

I just shot 3 with the ol' pellet rifle this morning. The first one down draws the whole flock. They squack around and land in same spot as the dead one.Pick em off one by one till they catch on.
Im anti-crow
I think crow hunting is fun, hiding and calling them in. If a guy had a guide service for yotes that would be a nice side biz.In season of course.

Gunner,

We need to have "another sit down talk"! Remember what state your in (and I dont mean the state of confusion, lol). I'll borrow ya a shotgun to keep ya out of trouble. By the way, check your desk at work, You may want to swing by and see whats lying around.

Personally I dont use decoys for crows anymore. I have an owl decoy that can go for $10 bucks plus shipping if anyone wants it. I used ot use them and found out they werent worth the effort and I actually did worse with them. I do the best crow hunting in pine trees where they cant see you till thier in range.
