Crow Sniping with the 17 HMR

6-06, have u ever thought of getting a custom reticle in it by Leupold. I think all u have to do is send them the ballistics of your load and they'll put several dots along the vertical wire and 1 or 2 on the horizontal.

I put a 3-9x PFI Rapid Reticle on my Ruger Charger 22LR handgun and with Stinger's and Quik Shoks it'll get me 2 150 yds. with 2" gps. on the calmest days. I killed a prairie dog and cottontail both beyond 100 yds. with that rig and the bullet still had some energy at those ranges--125 and 135 yds.

The new Chipmunk company is supposed to reintroduce their Silhouette/Hunter model pistol in several rimfire chamberings and i will be putting another 3-9x PFI on that 1 when (if) it comes out.

I am aware that Leupold puts reticles in their scopes, but didn't know specifically that they would match it to my rifle's trajectory. That might be something to consider. How expensive is it, if you know?
 
I don't--never had 1 yet. probably just send them an e-mail oughtta' do it.

I just got all excited today--gonna start some work with 1 of these rimfire pistolas in a 14 caliber project--oughtta be a kick.
